Geis strengthens in Germany: Acquisition of Gras Group and Krüger locations

The Geis Group continues to expand and strengthen its position in the German market through two important acquisitions. As of 1 January 2025, Geis will take over all shares of its long-standing partner, the Gras Group, based in Neuwied near Koblenz. Shortly thereafter, from 1 April 2025, it will also take over two Krüger locations in Göttingen. The acquisitions strengthen the Geis Group's position in West and Central Germany and expand its position in the IDS network.

Geis Group grew significantly in 2023

The Geis Group grew significantly in 2023 thanks to the breakthrough acquisition and achieved a turnover of EUR 1.89 billion. Despite difficult market conditions, the Slovak part of the Group generated a turnover of almost EUR 83 million. Now the entire group will focus on further deepening the cooperation with Quehenberger Logistics.
