New partnership for transportation

Sport Vision, a retailer of sports equipment, accessories and footwear, is continuously expanding its store network and is already present in 12 European countries. In Czech Republic  and Slovakia they entered through acquisition of A3 sport, which is now being completly transfored in accordance to Sport Vision’s standards. For Slovakia and the Czech Republic, they were looking for a partner to help them transport their goods quickly and reliably to their sales network - both to Sport Vision's traditional stores and to BUZZ stores, which are popular especially with original sneaker lovers. The partnership was formed with our company, which not only has a strong distribution network, but also experience in delivering shipments to shopping centres.

Now we are delivering goods to 20 Sport Vision and BUZZ stores in Slovakia and 49 in the Czech Republic. Dušan Vilhan, business director of Geis SK, appreciates such cooperation: "We are pleased that such an important player on the sporting goods market has placed his trust in us. Efficient distribution within 24 hours

Distribution of the goods is carried out from the central warehouse in Sered, Slovakia. This warehouse is operated for Sport Vision by Quehenberger, which has been part of the Geis Group since last year. Together with Sport Vision we are jointly relying on a palletised transport solution, which should make the entire process - packaging, loading and other sub-activities - more efficient compared to a parcel solution. We and Sport Vision see this change in the form of distribution and its structure as a challenge that will bring benefits in the sense of faster and more reliable delivery of goods to individual stores.

The delivery of shipments from the warehouse to the stores is very fast, within 24 hours. This means that individual stores do not have to keep large stocks in limited space.
