In addition to the renewed quality and environmental management certifications, Geis has now also obtained the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Certificate. This shows that quality, environmental responsibility and care for employees are not just a phrase for Geis.
This year, the logistics company has once again managed to prove that the quality of its services is at a high level and has successfully defended its ISO 9001 certification for the next three years. It has been certified for 17 years.
An independent audit has also confirmed that Geis' environmental management system is top-notch by reissuing the ISO 14001 certificate. This has been the case since 2012.
The logistics provider has now prepared itself for certification according to the ISO standard, which assesses the setting up of an occupational health and safety management system. And since the company has been active in this area for a long time, it is rightly proud of this third ISO certificate.
Quality and properly functioning processes are essential for Geis. They affect not only the service provided to customers, but also its employees and other people around it. Quality Manager of Geis SK, Jana Výbošťoková, says: "The entire integrated management system of Geis SK is prepared and maintained over a long period of time to meet the requirements beyond the scope of the law. Not only thanks to internal audits we have all processes and settings covered and we maintain them at the required level. And of course, a great support is the understanding and approach of the management and, last but not least, of all our employees in meeting the requirements of ISO standards, legislation and meeting the requirements of our customers. The new ISO certificates confirm that our operations are set up to a high standard and are working excellently."
